.......i'm getting old.

There used to be a time, i kid you not, where i could drink ten or more pints of ale with a couple of chivvas and still be able to walk home with relative ease. Not only that i'd be up at dawn the next day ready for work.

Not any more. Three or four beers now and i'm tipsy, talking like a tosser and waking up the day after with an enormous ice pick wiggling in my head. I can't take my ale anymore.

As luck would have it i'm still impervious to the alcoholic joys of the grape.

So will you all join me in a glass of merlot whilst messing about on the DBB.....Cheers to all. And as the maan himself said Work is the curse of the drinking class.

I did, i do, i was...stouts are the best. We've talked about this before no? The problem is i live in the poxy middle east where a Stout is as well known aas a pig in a synagogue.

That sounds like it's as good a reason to move as any I can think of

wine is only good with italian food. but i know what you are saying because i can't drink nearly as much as i used to without becoming a street bum.

midnight sunday morning for me. when you think about it, everyone's normally pissed and yelling around here at that time anyway. a big soccer game slots into that timeslot just perfectly
