I was wondering where Canuck got his avatar from. Looks like I found where it came from. Not to mention the entertainment value I got from it.
and no the title is not a typo.

That was the origional clip, Arnold made more;

Even my Japanese and Korean guests wrinkled their faces up and some of them look almost round eyed at times, then look perplexed, when I show them that series of commercials.
Apparently it cannot be translated easily and has more to do with social position more than anything?
As for my Avatar, I ripped a still out of the film clip a full 8 months before dude put the thumb up on the site. I'm sure there are subtle differences.
PS: Any Japanese-Literate Descenters please explain this series of commercials and wth are they printing on Arnold's forehead?

that scored a 7.5 on the "weird ★■◆●-O-meter". o_0
LOL, it totally blows my mind that the Japanese media puts out that kinda advertising when thier whole culture is show as staunch and personal. "No large Arm movements."

Actually, I'm the reason why Canuck has that as an avatar. I posted that very video a couple of years ago. However, it also got bash a little worked up because I gave the thread the title "Those crazy japs". Long story short, he came close to accusing me of being a racist over it.

Sounds more like something Eyerate would do not Bash.

Sorry Krom, you'd be incorrect. I saw Bash do it.

Yeah, but thats all in the past though.
And before anyone accuses me of taking a pot shot at bash, I'm not. All I did was state what happened in that thread. I'm not one to really hold a grudge over petty crap like that. I still lurb you bash.
