Anyone have the D2: Vertigo Soundtracks (from the 2 CD's)

I used to have the Vertigo CD's, but I lost them. And I really want the soundtrack! If anyone has them, could I please get them?
If you have the CD's, I'd love it if you could rip it for me! I'm tired of listening to the short versions of all the songs.

Um... any preferred way to get these to you? I already have all of them as mp3s...

They're only 128 kbps it turns out, which, while I personally can't tell the difference... if you want higher just ask, although it will take some time to re-send them.

I've got all the D2 redbook audio tracks ripped to 320kbps 48kHz mp3 format using the LAME codec. I'm tempted to re-rip them to ogg-vorbis. CDex is a godsend.
(too tired to post a link to it right now, so google it if you want it.)

The tracks are also available for download from PD, although I believe those versions are 128kbps.

Can I get those?
(I can tell.. being a DJ can be a test of strength and fickleness sometimes)

Isn't that exactly CD rate/quality?
MD-2389 likely has a much better connection than I, also.

No. CD is 44100Hz 2 channel, 16 bits per channel. 4 bytes per sample means it takes 176400 bytes for one second. 176400*8 is bits, divided by 1024 is kilobits. Which comes out to 1378.125kbits/sec. Suck on that for a while
MP3 is like JPEG. It has no lossless mode. But, as far as most people (as in one or two per hundred million) are concerned, yes, it is perfect.
Exactly CD quality can be had for about half the size from lossless codecs, such as FLAC. Compared to decent MP3/OGG bitrates, this results in files 4 to 6 times larger.

It'd take forever to send you roughly 54MB over my connect. (56k) If you have access to an FTP server that supports resume, I can upload it all there.
Though you might be better off just having someone burn you a copy of the disk and being done with it.

there is a Descent2 CD and a Vertigo CD (Def coll has both plus D1)
you cant run descent2 without the first unless you have only the demo. the second is ther vertigo series add on pack, DMB2 and some extra songs not found on the first.
Go out an buy them rip the songs yourself.
And you have already posted in other threads you are using the demo and hotlinked it too. That is probally the reason you are having mutliplayer issues.
you jump on this board and like a wirlwind you post post post, help help help. then you say I dont have the CD's. Go warez somewhere else
No Descenter ever loses their CD's they have multiple Copies!!
