I just wanted to announce that the new website and forums for Descent-into-Doom3 mod Into Cerberon are now "live" and ready for user participation.

Very impressive. The site looks very good. How did you get the Descent font to look so fancy?

W3bdevil did a great job with it and I asked him about that myself. Apparently, it was quite easy. He simply used the Photoshop "Pattern Overlay" layer feature to apply a Photoshop-standard "rock" texture to the text. He also used a top-to-bottom gradient layer overlay to give it that "burning" effect.

That GX model is drop-dead gorgeous. Looks like you guys are getting set up well; best of luck to you. If this thing takes off, I might have to bring myself to buy a groundpounder.

Some of the ideas in it are quite amusing. Like the disco-ball thing... heh!
