quake?

one of my frirends mentioned during hte (footy) game that there was a quake 7.0 in california. are you guys ok?

I heard on the radio this morning that it was far enough off the coast that it would not any damage. Can anyone verify?

Yes, there was a quake in clai and it gave a tsunami warning for British Columbia.

I'm a little south of SF. Didn't notice.

The quake was centered about 75 miles West of Crescent City in Northern California. There was no tsunami as the earth shifted sideways rather than up and down. Shortly after that there was a 3.9 quake a little further South and inland, but it amounted to nothing.

I'm in Portland Oregon .. about 300 miles NNE of the quake. It was all over the news.. lotsa shots of elbows and assholes. ;D
