My last day

Well, I am changing jobs today. This is my last day as an engineer for Delta Air Lines. Starting tomorrow, I will be a design engineer for an aftermarket aircraft parts company. Good bump in pay, good opportunity to get in on the ground floor or a startup division within an existing rock solid company, and I diversify my family income (Mrs. Dedman is also an engineer with Delta.) Best of all though, because Mrs. Dedman still works for Delta, I still get to fly anywhere in the world or free.
I donĂ¢??t know why I am saying all this. I guess I was just in a sharing mood.

Would you adopt me? Damn, two engineers in one family must be nice. Congrats on the new job.

I bet dinner conversations are pretty interesting. Tech talk at the kitchen table.

Being married to an engineer does have it's advantages.

Now that my wife works for Boeing as a requirements specialist, we have that sort of conversation all the time... ok, granted, when she was a math nerd, we always had math nerd talks... but now we have engineering talks. It's cool!

Congratulations Ded and Drak. Work is important.
I actually love my job and love the act of working for itself; some people would kill to work in the surroundings i do... yet i'm still not satisfied. I hope to change that in the not too distant future.

Well, for me, work for work's sake is not very fun. I work to pay the bills. If I like my job it's a bonus.
Given my preferences, I would rather be an obscenely wealthy international man of leisure.
