Need a disk wiper program; recommends, pros and cons please?

I am looking for recommendations for a program to clean out some hard disks prior to recycling the Windows pc's. Would like to get some feedback on your experiences. Thanks!

I've used this before. It seems OK - never had problems.

Never tried to recover data that had been wiped, though.
