... ahh I'm just slow, that's all.. and now AMAZED !
I'm at V4B 4n8, ... just two blocks from the beach !
.. Soo Cool is how you can adjust the angle of view, and ( for eg, at my V4B 4N8), see the steepness of the terrain ! ( .. trying to not get too distracted at work..!)

Cool, it's got a somewhat decent coverage of the UK which is hard to find.

Get the Google Earth software, its much better (resolution + 3D). I use it for planning my bike rides. I map out an area and take 4 to 16 snaps of them, stitch them together in Photoshop, and print the result. I stick the pic in my helmet so when I need help finding my way around ... there it is.

I have a few
aviation links for Google Earth, including a B-2 and F-117 @ Palmdale, the desert boneyard @ Davis-Monthan, Kennedy Space Center, the USAF Museum, etc.

that is so cool. I noticed that the pictures were fairly old though. There was a car at my god parents house that was wrecked over a year ago.

Ice, I do sort of the same thing. Lacking a distance computer, GE's path function enables me to determine the length of my daily ride. I was pleasantly surprised to discover it's about a mile further than I thought.
In other news (thanks to Robo's keen eyes), I'm now a DBB MASTER (since Jim screwed me out of my DEMIGOD rank when my NTrap forum bit the dust
) with 5,000 posts! Yay4me! In order not to ruin that number I will now only re-edit old posts and continue to delete all new submissions moments after posting. The balloons and basket of personal hygeine products sent by Kevin was a nice touch to commemorate the milestone.
