Why Are Objects Transparent in D3 Merc and Not In D3?

I encountered something weird, when I installed D3 Mercenary on my computer some of the objects like the generators and some of the doors were actually partially transparent and the windows would be transparent most of the time but when looked at in some angles would revert to their non-transparent texture. This doesnt happen in D3 though in either case but it does in D3 Merc so I think its some specifically related to D3 Merc, does anybody know why this is or what I can do?

Are you running under Direct3D or OpenGL? What type of video card? Are you using a commandline? If so what is it??

Do you have a Matrox video card? If so you really should be using the -norenderwindows command line option.

I run both D3 and D3 Merc under DirectX because Open GL seems to have alot of graphical issues with both games. I have a Nividia GeForce 4 card and I dont use any commandlines. I dont know if these issues happen on D3 Merc under Open GL because ive never played D3 Merc under Open GL.
