Is it just me, or have they been dropping like flies this year? I've never heard of so many dying/getting lost/whathaveyou in one year.

I think it's because nowadays boyscouts and their leaders are taking all those PDA's and BLACKBERRIES and CELLULAR PHONES and IPODS and GAMEBOYS and everything else electronic into the mountains, which then attracts the lightening.

Its the media coverage. Suddently its become sensational (and most definately profitable) to report on XYZ being missing and constantly reffering back to that girl who got lost in Aruba. Im getting tired of the constant coverage of just ONE person when there are so many other things going on in the world since the 3 months she's been missing.
