Well personally I'm sick of seeing those commercials for BOD Body Spray - it's just sweaty chipndales running around half naked. They need a hairy fat Ron Jeremy guy running around doing football drills. That'd make me feel better.

As a student working for a graphic design degree and currently taking a sales class (ouch) I can see why they did this campaign. Every other ad shows already incredibly fit people using their shoes. What about the normal person like me, why should I buy what they have? Selling to the biggest market is always what marketers try to do. Show me a company that sells to a tiny select group and I'll show you a company thats on the verge of collapse.

to me, i don't find this ad particularly sexually appealing. but it's not targeting me sexually so that's fine. (the ass looks nice, but without seeing the waist to compare the ratio - it doesn't speak to my brain like a well ratioed (approx 2/3) waist-to-ass does). i do still however want to have my hands on that ass

those are goosebumps. and the skin looks like it's undergoing a cold sweat - which fits.

an ad about men's butts would approach the subject completely differently.

is anyone else wondering if those round splotchy paint marks in the ad's background canvas are "ass-painting"? i'll bet they are

I like it, but I admit, there are cultural differences. That butt pictured in that ad, is EXACTLY the type of bootie that's desired by a growing demographic of men nowadays. It used to be just a Black thing, but more and more people are seeing the light, and to be honest, the flat ass just isn't attractive to a lot of men.

Some people mentioned that the butt in that ad is "fat". Let me tell you, that but is in NO way fat. It's well built, and those bumps are goosebumps. I for one can't stand a butt that looks like it's been hit from behind with a 2x4 and if it wasn't for the crack in the butt, it would just seamlessly merge with her back.

I say a good example of a butt would be Ki Toi Johnson. Or that picture of Venus Williams in that catsuit as she's about to hit that ball.

The butt on that add doesn't look bad. My first impression was 'nice arse'. But the angle is deceiving...doesn't really show how wide it is, which is important. I like bubble-butts tho', as long as they are firm. A saggy bubble-butt is ghastly. That one isn't saggy. And the bumps do indeed look like goosebumps.

i'm alot more angered by every mcdonald's commercial i see than i am by nike. i want to stick a fork in ronald's eye every time a mickey d's commercial comes on.

most consumable ads are really just ads for various drugs. most of them make so much more sense if you substitute whatever product they are selling with coccaine.

I agree, flat "bootie" is not very attractive,(I prefer a medium, corn-fed female myself ) ....but then, neither is two bulldogs fighting in a pillow case very attractive IMME

She's not fat, but she's too big for me. Too much muscle (I'm talking ass/leg for that picture, she has great upper body design) is as unattractive as too much flab.

I also like 5'0. She looks to be 6'0.

Because if you buy their shoes, your intent is to look like the model that's wearing them. That is the whole point of their campaign. Get in shape, get in shape, get in shape, and use our products to do it.
