I have been searching for free .mov to .avi or mpeg converter and I can't seem to find one. I have found quite a few shareware ones but they all have limitations and you have to buy them.

Does anyone know where I can find a free one. Thanks!

Let me know if you find one. My new camera takes video in MOV format.

It isn't so bad since I got the Quicktime codec for Mplayer 6.4, but I'd be nice to have 'em in AVI or MPG format.

Hey JMEaT I finally found one! You can dl it from here. Its called RAD Video Tools. It's pretty fast and gets the job done.

but I decided to use a codec that works with windows media player instead. That way you don't lose any video quality.
