Best Setup for new Stick ?

hi,
this is my first post so please forgive me if i ask any dumb questions. in fact i don't post much in forums at all so please have mercy...
i'm with descent since the d1 demo (thats why i used this particular forum) and discovered d2x-w32 a few days ago. it was like a rebirth!!! i haven't played for 5 to 6 years now because i haven't had a box to run it on. to hear my pyro appear in a mine after all these years was like an org*sm...
but now to my problem:
i still have my old gameport thrustmaster topgun stick from back in the days and it handles the ship very smooth when it comes to flying thru small doors or aiming at enemys. i now bought 2 new saitek evo sticks because i want to play against my sons and i tried to find a good setup but no matter what i do with the sensitivity or deadzone slider the flying is not very exact or satisfying.
can you please tell me your settings of:
- sensitivity
- deadzone
- linear sensitivity scaling (checked or not)
btw what does the toggle "wiggle ship" mean?
any answer highly appreciated
