What interesting things one can pick up off the US Govt. procurement sites:

"for six Oxygen Bomb Apparatus with 1108CL chlorine resistant combustion vessel, platinum electrodes, quartz liner, and full set of operating accessories. Two quartz liner and accessories for 1108 Oxygen Bomb will also be procured."

so what the heck is a "oxygen bomb"?.

Bomb is just shorthand term for a pressure vessel. Occasionally used without a relief device in some applications. Oxidation reactions tend to be exothermic, and sometimes go boom. Parr produces lots of customized pressure containers.
