Yes, but realizing where the buck stops doesn't necessarily make one a good man.

Sounds like he's trying for an angle. Bush is really only president cause 'it would be fun' and he can uphold his religion and (other's) corporate interests. How would he possibly know the severity of the lack of..everything..down there? He's too busy with his toys in the sand and reintegrating his god into politics. He's not at fault. (He has faults, yes). He didn't appoint the losers who are really at fault, they've been on the job for n years already.

If he wants any credit, I think he should fire those who *are* at fault and appoint competent people without partisanship/agendas to review and amend the situation. But that won't happen, I'd bet.
