How effective

So hillary wants to be prez huh. Well lets see, way back when, she tried and failed at a national health care plan. Now she has failed in setting up a Katrina Commission:

"The New York Democrat's bid to establish the panel _ which would have also made recommendations on how to improve the government's disaster response apparatus _ failed to win the two-thirds majority needed to overcome procedural hurdles. Clinton got only 44 votes, all from Democrats and independent Sen. Jim Jeffords of Vermont. Fifty-four Republicans all voted no."

So how will she be a effective president if dear sweet Hillary cannot even get one republican to vote on a commission that I suspect a great many americans would want in place to see what went wrong. Again Hillary shows her immense leadership abilities.

I suppose the GOP is going to wait till America gets hooked by the next big thing to start an investigation. If the American people saw even more of the monumental failures by this Administration (yet again), you never know what might happen with some elections coming up.

That said, throw McCain in the mix and you'll win again. Most would vote for him, an actual moderate. Not a "moderate" during the campaign trail turned hard line right winger :)

McCain is a mildly honest conservative, which makes him look more moderate, because most conservative politicians in the federal government are wing-nuts in lockstep with one another.

I suppose a small dose of sanity does make him a tad more moderate, though.

"And the Dems are not in lockstep?"

I have made no argument one way or the other on the Dems lockstep'dness.
