So who else has seen this and what are your thoughts on it? I thought it was pretty good and well done, although i wish there could have been a little bit more to it. The remixed songs were a nice touch too.

Looks pretty sweet. Haven't seen it though. Am I going to miss anything from not playing the game?

You would be an idiot to watch it without having played the game first.

There was too much Cloud and Tifa, and the plot was nearly impossible to follow during the first viewing. Only during the second run did it fit together. The classical FF7 music was fine, but the new stuff wasn't.

Basically its a fully cg animated movie almost 2 hours long. Its based on the story from game "Final Fantasy 7" taking place 2 years after the game ended. You'd probably wouldnt understand anything thats going on unless you played the game though. Visually its impressive and a treat to watch.
Sky: yeah, there was a bit too much of Cloud/Tifa, although i sort of expected that but was hoping theyd show a bit more of the other characters. I agree with the plot though, made more sense the 2nd time through.

Yes, it exists for PC. It was originally a PS1 game, but Square released a PC version as well.

Yea it's for PC, but the PC Edition of FF7 (and FF8) is something of a collector's item now. I sold mine on eBay for close to a 100 bucks a year or so ago, not sure how much they're going for now.

Heh, I just got to disc 2 yesterday... after like 60 hours. Bored at the barracks so I thought I'd replay it... for like the 12th time.
I been waiting for this thing, but I dunno where to get it. Is it actually OUT, or is it a leaked bootleg thing right now?
