NVidia Drivers

for some reason, i uninstall my 77.72 NVidia Forceware drivers, and install the 78.01. but when i reboot it reverts right back to the 77.72?!?!
any suggestions

Try using the nvidia reg cleaner or whatever app they have to totally uninstall the old ones. Remember, you should uninstall them in safe mode. Then delete the folder it puts on the C drive if it does like ATI.

where can i find reg cleaner? is it already a part of the driver package?

Don't uninstall the 77.72 first.

Your GF/X card not supported by the 78.01 ? Try the 78.03 (nVidia Beta link)

uppon reading your suggestion, i went back to the drivers page and i saw this:

Because the installer for the new version automatically uninstalls the old version like nvidia drivers have done since the detonater series came out.
