Thorne was one of the coolest guys I ever played with, not to mention one of D3's best pilots. Hopefully the old axiom, "Descent pilots don't die, they just fade away and post crap on message boards" will be true. I learned a lot by piggybacking him in the early days from observer, and then by getting owned by him time and time again until I got better. Actually, I don't think there's any point that he couldn't have owned me.
