You guys may have seen me in the Springfield area Hooters commercial back a year(or so) ago....I was the tattooed muscle guy with short brown hair sitting on the corner barstool saying "because the beer is ice-cold and the women and wings are HOT!" in response to one Hooters girl asking me why I came to Hooters.
I was the chief engineer (fancy for 'do-it-all' guy) at Comfort Suites here in Springfield for a few years and was a very familiar face at Hooters everyday after work there for awhile. The manager of that particular Hooters had long since become a close associate of mine and when Hooters did a national (local) ad campaign I was asked to be in it heh...wut could I say, no? plus, it was my then current g/f who was also appearing in the ad as the local spokesperson for that Hooters.
ahhh....life wuz soooo gooood back then
I hesitated to post this because it appears outlandish....but then I thought..hey, wait, I have proof

I knew that was comin...soon as I clicked submit I said "Richard Cranium is gonna see this and demand the evidence" ...all I can say is try to find it 'cause I dont have a clue. I never taped it cause I only saw it once and so I set up the VCR to catch it but, as irony would have it, only saw it once more and that was while I was out.Richard Cranium wrote:Do you have a video clip to post, then don't keep us waiting.will_kill wrote:I hesitated to post this because it appears outlandish....but then I thought..hey, wait, I have proof
Here are the facts, filmed on location @ Springfield Hooters on Freedom Dr. during the late summer of '03(exact month fails me). Was aired on one of the local stations called the WB (Decatur, I believe). The spots were designed around a national campaign that showcased each restaraunt by incorporating local faces into the ads that were shown in that area. Right place right time, I s'pose
o well...call me ace face...guess I don't have proof (but it is true)

yeh...I'd agree except for the 'fringe benefits' I received ...ahhh, come to think of it that's why I quit hangin' out so much after I broke it off with Sandy or whatever her name was...I started to feel weird and kinda' pervyDarktalyn1 wrote:I got you beat.....
As for Hooters, my dad seems to have a slightly creepy fascination with the place....
