High speed modem.

I use a speedstream 5200 USB ADSL Modem(High speed modem). Problem is, I can't get Descent 3 or anything else to connect to an IP address or any other server.

No he is right, opening ports is only for serving behind a NAT or firewall. If his DSL modem is like most then it isn't really a modem but just a bridge and forwards everything to the device thats connected to it and forwarding is completely irrelevant. If it functions as a NAT router then he should still be able to play on any server just by putting in the servers IP and port in direct IP, the NAT will take care of the rest.MD-2389 wrote:Actually, you do.
