it's morse code and translates to
"long live the lostaway"
the title of the page translates into
"In girum imus nocte et consumimur igni"
which is a latin palindrome which according to the article linked means:
"we go into the circle by night, we are consumed by fire"
i still don't know what this is all about.
edit:
ok after a few mins of searching, this seems to be a viral advertisement for the tv series "LOST".
and it changes every now and again (some say every 108 minutes).
could be fun to watch , people have found all sorts of encoded messages and images encoded INTO what is displayed on the website.
could someone who has watched the series "lost" shed some light on this? i didn't watch it

Yes, the site is allegedly about LOST.
Veritgo has given a really brief synopsis of the plot. I the second episode this season they introduced the fictional Hanso Foundation as the group that had set up the island as a research facility.
This led viewers to discover http://www.thehansofoundation.org/
Many of the links claim that access is denied due to lack of permission.
This led many to try logging in securely with:
https://www.thehansofoundation.org/
(note the https)
Which leads to the link of bigspaceship1.com
The Hanso site has a link to Disney's Terms of Use making it pretty clear that it is a legitamate show sponsored site. But bigspaceship1 has no terms of use. This is causing speculation over whether the site is fan-run or show sponsored.
bigspaceship.com is a web company that specializes in creating sites for Hollywood movies, so there is reason to believe that the site is legit.
There have been many messages in the Morse code on the site as well as hidden images in some of the flash animations and some of the audio that is sometimes played with the images.
LOST has included some scenes where dialogue has been played backwards and has been picked out by viewers who use DVR to play them back in reverse.
The shots on bigspaceship1.com do not change every 108 minutes. (108 has signifigance if you have watched the show...) Though, I hadn't heard that theory.
Anyways, I offer it only for the geek value of a TV show that seems to be going out of its way to throw tidbits to internet geeks. Which is why I naturally felt it should be posted here in Geek Kingdom.
