Fight Club is also my pick. Philosophy, hilarity, and brutality. Hard to beat.
The closest thing to a chick flick I can name without disgusting myself is The Importance of Being Ernest. It's sort of a love story, though really more of an excuse to be sarcastic.

CF, Steel Magnolias, that movie still kills me.
MM American History X, then Fight Club. I cant get enough of Ed Norton.

CF: I've never been able to tolerate one.
If Meet the Parents counts as one, then that's as close as I'll get.
MM: Die Hard for the action type. Otherwise, To Kill a Mockingbird; Gregory Peck's performance shows what manliness really is.
P.S. Since when is Pirates of the Caribbean a chick flick?
