Forget using an RC/beta.
Wait for 1.5 Official.

I've tried it. (I'm not tired of it.)
Haven't noticed any difference compared to the previous release.

Uh ... I am using 1.7.6 ...
Mozilla 1.7.6
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050328 Fedora/1.7.6-1.2.5
Works great for me.
[edit]Oh, I imagine you are speaking of the Windblows XP version.[/edit]

No, he's talking about Firefox 1.5 Beta 2 (Deer Park Beta 2). Mozilla 1.7.6 is far older.

Oh, DUH!
Mine is v 1.0.5 on Windblows. I haven't had any problems with it but I just installed it (and this OS for that matter) late last week.

I'm using it. Seems to work fine . . . no noticeable differences.

I can't wait till it hits the ports tree... looks like it'll be well worth the upgrade.

Its fine, does not use as much (but still does) gobs of memory when you open multiple tabs. Im wondering if they have YET fixed the memory leak which has been around and is known since the .90 days.
