After 14 bids, the price is now at $75 and the reserve is still not met. The fish that it's from is actually a Gafftopsail Catfish. I've caught probably a hundred of these over the years in Florida, and this is their natural bone structure. One sort-of-common name for them even is a "Crucifix Fish".
If anyone wants to give me a hundred bucks, I'll send 'em one next time I'm down there

Just looking at the picture, it was pretty clear to me that this is the way that all of these fish look. I mean, at least with the Mother Theresa toast you have some uniqueness, but this is just stupid.
....I noticed this tho'; "The Newmans said they received the fish bone from a friend 10 years ago, and they've had good luck ever since. Now, they said it's someone else's turn."
I bet the friend did'nt auction it to them
