it can be animated, I wish I could find some of those old images, there was few that rocked, I remember Kuman made a pretty nice one.

Iceman, this partly spawned from a discussion I had earlier with Koolbear privately over the old DBB when he had user created forum banners rotating via javascript. I made a comment about them, and he liked the idea of bringing them back. HENSE this thread.

As for the old banner images, I searched archive.org hoping that they might have been saved. Unfortunately, they weren't.

Edit: This was all that I could recover. Then again I only remember these two.

PHP can do a much cleaner job of rotating images than javascript.

Whatever happened to the new banner idea? Some time has pasted by now.

I never got any input, I do have 4 or 5 Descent BB banners that we've used over the years and a bunch of old ones from various sites that have come and gone over the ages.

You know they might spark some memories and conversations. After the move I promise to revive this issue.

I was focusing my effort on getting a functional site to move the DBB to though

If someone tells me how they want it to look or what style they are looking for...Im just not surehow you want it to look, like colors and texture, lighting etc..

Anyway here is some I through together for you to look at, I need some input though on what KoolBear wants it to look like since hes the \"Big Kahuna\"
