So did they finally fix the memory leak that was known about for quite some time? Did they also fix the issue with the program taking up gobs of ram after loading up several tabs?

at least they are nice enough to tell you it's for testing only.

Hogging memory because of tabs? You should see what it does when you have a couple 15 million+ pixel images loaded in it. I think it finally crashed at about 450 MB memory use.

the RC one is described for tesing only and not ment for general use.
Hit thier site and see what was done. I'm sure it's there somewhere.
