your very own WIKI

Post by roid »

http://pbwiki.com/

wikis are very useful. i just started a private wiki of my own today, and i've been starting it off with my life history (which i'll add too as i remember it). i'll probabaly also keep sections in the wiki for all the projects and interests i get involved in.

Wikis can also be public - wikipedia is a great example. or semipublic where anyone can read it but only a select group of people can edit it.

so if you're curious about having your own wiki, or for some group project. try it out :)
even if you just use it as a personal journal, it'll probabaly be the most useful journal you'll ever have.

hmm..

thanks Roid, but no. I'll pass. wikis and blogs remind me of running around nekid in my dreams. :P

Frankly, I'm amazed at what poeple are willing to post for just anyone to see. I'm not sure that most realize that it's also searchable. There was an Opus cartoon several sundays ago that but it rather well where he calls for a pizza and the guy taking the order has [u)ALL[/u] his records on the screen... including photos of Opus' colonoscopi. "I've seen cleaner pipes on a Harley, dude".

That all being said. Thanks for the link, I know thee are a number here that will be intersted. :D
