If in a pdf file, I expand it(as in blueprints) to a area I want to print, I click on snap shot but then it goes to the clipboard. So where do I find this clipboard so I can print that section out? Or is there a easier way to print the blown up area?
O.S. is win xp pro, Mozilla for browser.

You need to instlal the clipboard viewer or paste it into a paint program like Photoshop or Paint ShopPro.

Paint shop pro has a trial and is easier to use.

What I would do is just export that particular page as a .jpeg and then crop in MS paint and try to print it there.

If I right click on drawing there is no command to export.

"Save As...." select JPG or "Export..." as HTML output.

No can do. When I try I get a "link not found" message.
I could print the whole page but all the detail would be too small for a 8 x 11 sheet of paper. It is when I zoom in on a detail that the printing option disappears.

when you copy the image, open up WOrdpad and hit CTRL+V and then use it to print it out.

When I zoom in on the image, there is no copy command.
Fliptw, I'll take a look.

O.K. I downloaded the proggy flip. When the screen comes up about allowing the extensions, should I allow all or none of them?

When you zoom in, hit PRNTSCRN and then paste into wordpad.

I'd leave the extentions at the default settings. You can install the plugins if you want, but they're not necessary for this task.

Use the snapshot tool in Acrobat to capture the frame you want. Then simply load Irfanview. Click the edit menu and select Paste. Then save.

Open office is nifty

Well I think I'm screwed as adobe acrobat under "security measures" does not allow printing in some cases. Print screen key doesn't work and neither does snapshot.

Well Merlin you get my xxx's and hugs for the day.
Snagit works great. I'm still trying to figure how to take a capture area and get it to print up over a larger area of a 8 x 11. Don't know yet if there are some print parameters I can set.
Oh I downloaded it from Tucows BTW

Flip I tried the Irfan and I still don't know how to use it with a pdf file. On it's file types I don't see pdf listed in the drop down menu.

Woodchip, you should be able to tell your "printer" to "fit to page" and select the page size and orientation you want.

I suggested ifranview as a better alternative to wordpad.

woodchip, if you can't get the shots you want, e-mail the pdf to me and I'll give it a whirl. Don't forget to mention what pages you want. :)
