Nero CD Database

Does anybody else have problems with ripping CDs using Nero 6? I'm sick of typing in artist, album, and track info for everything I rip. But I always get an error when trying to connect to their Internet database, even with both my hardware and software firewalls disabled. Googling for the error turned up only about 4 pages in English, none of which helped.
So I downloaded the latest version of the database and imported it into Nero (which took HOURS) only to discover the database is way incomplete. The first three albums I checked weren't even in it, and they're not all that obscure or old. For example, Rush's 2112 isn't in there, but some other Rush albums are.
So, how do the rest of you get CD info when ripping? Do you use Nero or something else? If Nero, do you have any luck with their database? If something else, what? (options that don't cost me money are always preferred).

If it can manage to recognize those, I'm guessing it'll do pretty well with whatever albums you have.
