D3 lighting problem

I just recently started making Descent 3 levels. After following a tutorial for a while, I start my first personal project, load it into Descent, and immediately notice something wrong. Nearly all of the face edges show up as ugly black bars. I'm not sure if it's actually a lighting problem, as flares don't make these bars go away.

I'm using D3Edit Beta a03_3g by Atan. The lighting problem has only occurred in one room that I know of, and I have only tested that room. I lit that room exclusively for the test.

I should have some screenshots of the problem up soon.

Edit: As I said, here are the screenshots:

ok, couple of things to start. You can join those faces to make one face per wall, unless there is a reason to leave them the way they are.

Next, did you run the lighting program for the entire level? (and save)? Post a screenshot of your lighting setting please. That will give us a better idea of what's going on. Also, as always, be sure to get rid of unused verticies and run the BOA.

Well, I followed your advice, and fixed it. I'm not entirely sure what fixed it, but there were 8 duplicate verts so that was probably the problem.

Thanks for the help.
