Freezing problem

I'm trying out some golfswing analysis software.

I have a Dell 4100 Demission running XP w/ 512MB of RAM.

I get the folowing message on that computer.

\"Warning: on a few computers with onboard audio, the slow motion feature makes Windows crash.

We have had reported mostly with the CMeda brand.

If Windows crashes after you press OK, please try the following fixes:

1. Update your audio drivers with Windows update
2. Disable onboard audio and install a quality audio card\"

Where do I look to find the \"audio\" brand and model to see about drivers?

Device manager can probably show you enough. Start ---> run ---> devmgmt.msc

Look in \"Sound, video and game controllers\".

didn't know creative name went on any onboard audio....

but my question is this... is it freezing at the point of the message you are getting, or is that just a message it gave you before you started?

When I do the slow mo the program works fine until I switch to another window/program. When I try to go back to the golf thing the window just stays white although I can switch back to any other program/window and it's fine.

However........I did download a new driver and all seems well.

Thanks for the post
