Getting Verizon FiOS Internet Service Feb.7;cheaper than ADSL. Can anyone tell me what to expect regarding ping. Cable had fast download but very high pings here. I hope to stop skipping with fiber.

Pings depend on your location and the quality of service you have, FiOS should provide a low ping assuming verizon has enough backbone in the area.

On the OTHG's server the ping went from 155 to 107 and as low as 80. I think it helped me in those fast IM launches.
