Part of my level wants to stick up above the terrain, the rest is hiding below. How do I move the whole level so it's all beneath the terrain?

while in global view, goto File and use \"move mine\".
The coordinates are originated for the \"current room\" highlighted in the level. Remember to use the SAME ROOM each time you move the room to get consistant results.
Also, write the coordinates down as it will probably take several tires before you get the results you want.

oh dude. Got get Atan's version. It hardly crashes at all. Also, Defrag all HD's being used in the process, it makes a BIG difference.
And always ALWAYS save often!
We all feel your pain there.

It goes down like a cheap hooker whenever I try to do anything with marked faces.

hrm.
Again. do a defrag.
try using 0_0_2(p). that one's pretty stable for me. Also I use it in conjunction D3Editbeta (1.1beta9) There are some things you can do with that one that you can't with Atan's. Mostly terrain stuff. It's pretty stable too.
Like I said. Defrag your Hard Drives multiple times until it takes no time to complete then reboot.

Funny thing, D3edit has only crashed a couple times since my last post, and I've built 30% of the level shell twice.
It's Manipulating the viewport window with marked faces that seems to be fatal to me.
