Okay, Noob here. I've tried searching the forum, but the search function has not been working well for me. Anyway, great work on D2X-XL. Absolutely love it!! I'm running it in WinXP.

Question about the movie playback when playing the Descent 1 and 2 campaigns. Is there a way to get the movies to play in-game during the campaigns? They won't play for me; when I choose a new game I just get the spinning robot descriptions.

The d2x.ini file has the switch for playback.
To turn them on. Open d2x.ini file in you descent folder. Look for -nomovies and edit it so it looks like this, -nomovies 0 and save it.

More info on that switch or all switches.
-nomovies [<num>] Don't play movies (0: play all movies, 1: only robot movies, 2:no movies)
