Hello!

I just installed Descent 1 and Descent 2 on my PC, along with the D2X-XL files.

1) When launching a D1 Level, I always get this error message: \"Can't convert unknown Descent 1 texture #1056\" Do I fix this?

2) When playing D2 (and D1 levels), my screen will go blank whenever I minimize D2X-XL, or ALT-TAB to the desktop. Is this a known issue with D2X-XL?

3) I don't hear the MIDI music in D2 or D1. Is this a known issue?

4) Sometimes I find myself going thru walls and taking short cuts to another part of the mine! No, I don't have any cheats turned on!

Thank you for D2x-xl; it makes playing these games a lot more enjoyable. The last time I played D1 and D2 was in 1998.

Concerning the MIDI tracks, I can now hear the sounds.

With D2X-XL, I also notice that I can play Descent 1 First Strike, save a level, but can not load a saved D1 level!
