Hello,
I am going to put together a single player mission pack.
These would be considered must have levels for anyone into single player!
Suggestions ...

Roth 513 and Alien Territory.
these were very well done, profesional quality. Difficult and FUN.
The Windmine Saga
Incredible, unfortunantly, it kept CRASHING on my pc. I don't know if that was just me or a design problem.

And these would be D3?
Going forward please be sure to include which version!

by Kilarin
I'm sorry, yes. All D3 levels
D3:
Roth-513 2.0
D3:
Alien Territory 2.0
D3:
Wind Mine
D3:
Wind Mine 3
D3:
Wind Mine 4
D3:
Wind Mine 5
D3:
Wind Mine 6
And like I said, what I could PLAY of wind mine was excellent, but if others have the same crashing problem I did, it would certainly kill it for inclusion.
Dang, just realized that Shoku wrote Roth and Alien Territory. cool!
Surely there are more people than me who play SP, we need more responses here folks!

Kyouryuu's
Reactor Gamma is one of the best-made D3 SP levels I've ever seen.

my vote goes for these aswell.
hell KB, cant you just get ALL of the SP Missions? some other ones i like that arent very popular.
Lunar Outpost MN0019 1.1
Mission at Saturn - Part One
Alien Territory 2.0
Saturn Station - Titan Project
Saturn Expedition
those are just a few of my suggestions.....

I think a package of all the reccommended ones. ALL SP levels might make a rather large download
As of today ...
Reactor Gamma
Roth-513 2.0
Alien Territory 2.0
Wind Mine 3
Wind Mine 4
Wind Mine 5
Wind Mine 6
Lunar Outpost MN0019 1.1
Mission at Saturn - Part One
Saturn Station - Titan Project
Saturn Expedition
Are any of these setup for Co-Op I thought it would be nice to have a Co-Op server running the highly reccommended levels IF they support Co-Op

I hope by \"pack\" you mean \"all-encompassing ZIP file.\" I suspect it's pretty non-trivial to merge a bunch of single player missions into one MN3 file.

Thanks to those who recommend two of my levels. I haven't heard anything about them in a long time. On a personal note: I like my last one best - Arrilen Po - it had the best design - and some great music by Asrale.

That one was yours too? Time for me to go back into SP again obviously. See if practicing MP has improved my SP skills any.

Hey, dont forget to add Pumo Mines 3 Level Demo to the SP list!
Download links (NOTE: the download size is huge, around 110MB so it may make your level pack very big, so you decide if you want to include it or better not):
http://www.mediafire.com/file/ls8uwc5la ... o-v1.0.rar
http://www.filefactory.com/file/b2c24e5 ... o-v1.0.rar (mirror)
Info about it:
http://pumosoft.3d-get.de/documents/pumomines.html
(although right now is just for D2X-XL and just 3-levels long)
--
For normal old-school D2 I also made this 1-level SP mission (Insnidia containment facility):
http://www.enspiar.com/dmdb/viewMission.php?id=68
--
And let's not forget this great mission from Kruel (Kritical Mass Testing Lab):
http://www.enspiar.com/dmdb/viewMission.php?id=255
It's just a single level but it has the same design quality as Konflict at Karon.
Oh yeah, and before I forget, Nostromo from Grant Hallman, another great one:

KoolBear, I did get your email, and I did send a reply on Monday morning. Hope you got it.
Pumo, I make no claims that my lists above are comprehensive or have all of the "must play" levels, so no slight was intended by any omissions. Descentbb.net has useful "sticky threads" in most of the sub-forums, but with the recent facelift, I noticed that the only sticky in the Single Player forum consisted of links that didn't lead anywhere anymore and posts from folks who were looking forward to some levels. I was just trying to get them started in the right direction. As Diedel's list and the activity on the D2X-XL forums show, there is still considerable activity on the D1/D2 level design front, and the Levels4You and PlanetDescent.com pages (in the Wayback Machine) show that there are additional single player/co-op levels available for D3 as well.
I intentionally posted the list in a forum thread rather than a static web page so people could chime in with their views on levels or promote their own levels (as you did). We need the ability to vote and express comments on levels as is the case on Levels4You and as was the case on PD.com. Quality of the levels available varies greatly and some types of levels don't appeal to certain people regardless of how well-designed they are.

Well, that's indeed a nice approach.
It's pretty nice to have a sticky post dedicated to show off some great SP levels for all Descent games.
Oh, and I know you didn't make any intentional omission, I was just kidding a bit .
In fact, there are so many good SP levels out there that would be hard to memorize them all and not to make an omission from time to time, so NP.
--
On a side note:
Only one thing would be nice (appart from the level pack) would be to organize a bit more the list (maybe on the first post of the topic and separated by game) but it's not a big deal anyway.
Anyway, great topic! If I recall some other great levelset I will post about it here.
I'm pretty sure that the pack Koolbear will make will be great.

Thanks karx12erx that's a nice link good screen shots. I'll get this level pack one day
Maybe after all this dust settles from the upgrade.
Akula65 I am amazed your effort is appreciated and I think you should start a thread with your links D1, D2 and D3 of Single player missions so it can be stickied if it hasn't been already already

Hunter is now mirroring D3 levels at Descent3 Sector. Single player levels are available here:

Also, Vision has released a D1 single player level here:

Diedel/karx11erx/karx-elf-erx has reminded us of the G.E.L.D. Team and their single player levels:

Though not the best single player level, my favorite on sectorgame is the N4 installation
