Alternate resolutions in D3?

Post by Sligar »

I just got a video projector that I want to run D3 on, its native resolution is 1280x720. Is there a way to change D3 settings someplace to allow it to switch to this resolution? I figure I'm just stuck with the standard choices, but thought I'd ask.

Don't forget though, that changing the aspect ration doesn't change the Field of View (FOV). You'll actually just be discarding the top and bottom-most parts of the scene.

Aspect ratio is the amount of screen you can see. Kinda like a 16:9 (wide screen) movie having the right and left edges cut off to fit on 4x3 TV but there could be stuff happening in the cut off parts that you are not able to see on the smaller screen.

the aspect ratio is the relationship between the height and width of a plane.
