See if you like Firefox. You can find it at www.mozilla.org

Great idea, dance around the problem by having him install yet another web browser!

Try fixing the problem rather than saying "IE SUCX USE A DIFFERRNT BROWESER!" You know what happens when you avoid problems like this.

The only true fix is the reinstall the OS.

It could be IE's cache is just acting broken, so cachesentry may/maynot help. He could also remove all the activeX crap thats been installed.

But trying out firefox is alot simpler, and less work for us in the future.

Since you didn't actually offer a solution, you can't complain DCrazy.

Alright, here's my help.

If IE loads everything except for, say, a banner ad, it will wait until the request for that image is accepted, refused, or times out until it shows the entire page. This can be a long time. Doing a Google I found people had fixed this exact problem by removing the "trick" of pointing ad servers to 127.0.0.1 in the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc\Hosts file.

Or, if that doesn't work, it's possibly related to security certificates.
