Putting the URL for the js file that does it into my permanent adblock settings is a pretty good indicator of my vote.

Actually, I kinda like it now. Yes it's annoying, but it's annoying because it forces you to quote smaller more reasonable sections of previous messages. We don't get nearly as many people just putting the entire previous message into a quote box. Instead they pick just a few lines relevant to what they are actually replying to.

On the same token, its rather useful to quote an entire article from a site that requires you to register to read. (re: nytimes)
